One of the more challenging tasks for entrepreneurs is determining how much their company is worth. Valuation represents the entrepreneur’s assessment of the amount of ownership that may be exchanged for the investor’s capital and expertise and the investor’s assessment of the potential risks and rewards. At the heart of every investment is a mutually accepted valuation by the investor and the entrepreneur. Understanding valuation is an essential part of the fund-raising process and may ultimately determine the success of a company.
Join us for this how-to joint EA-CTech workshop on Valuing Your Company for Investors and Buyers. Our panel of investment experts will present their best-practice advice on how to determine a realistic valuation of your company. Valuing a firm may start out as an art form but becomes more of a science as the firm gains traction in the marketplace. Learn first-hand what factors investors consider as they determine the market valuation of a firm. Designed as an interactive discussion with actual case studies, the workshop format will provide ample opportunity for our panel of angel and venture capital investors to respond to your individual questions on valuation.
